Recording plays, drives, and game results

Choose the called play and capture the result immediately enough that the situation is still clear. The goal is reliable evidence, not a perfect statistical record.

• Down, distance, and field zone
• Opponent look when relevant
• Result, yards, and success
• A short note only when context matters

Start and end drives consistently so later review reflects possessions rather than a flat event list. Confirm drive results before moving to the next possession.

Once connected, let pending events synchronize and review any attention states. Use the history to decide which plays need more practice, a variation, a better situation tag, or removal from the weekly call set.
