01

Use a separate workspace for each team

A team workspace owns its roster, playbook assignments, practices, games, opponents, and staff access. Use separate teams when the players, season, or coaching staff are meaningfully different.

02

Build and maintain the roster

Roster details make player labels, practice assignments, install tracking, and coaching context more useful.

  1. 1Open Team from the coaching navigation.
  2. 2Add each player with the name and jersey number you use on the field.
  3. 3Set a primary position and optional secondary position.
  4. 4Mark players inactive when they should remain in history but not appear in current selections.
03

Set season details

Season dates help TactiFlag prioritize active teams and keep current coaching work separate from history. Review the format before building plays; changing from 5v5 to 7v7 changes the assumptions coaches use when designing formations.

  • Keep the current team active through the end of its season
  • Archive completed teams instead of deleting history
  • Create a new season workspace when the roster or system needs a clean boundary
04

Roster access offline

The roster is included in a prepared team download and can be referenced by the editor and other coaching views. Make roster changes while connected so every device receives the same version.
